About Li:

I am a 30+ year Tahoe Local, and have weathered many personal storms to arrive here at post-motherhood Life.
My connection with Nature on a primal level began while exploring the woods in the northern CA redwoods and madrones as a child. I’d go to the trees and sit with them for hours, listening, singing, and observing animals as they passed me by…
Obviously as a young adult I was attracted to pagan beliefs & nature worship. My first women’s drumming circle was in 1997 and it shaped my belief system for years to come. I learned the ways of Native & Indigenous belief: how to tend Grandfather Fire, burning herbs in Circle, Holding space for others in Breathwork and Vision Quest, prayers with cedar, tobacco and cornmeal.
Though the “normal” life was always there, through trials and troubles and personal grief and growth, my Compass with the Medicine Wheel and those beliefs held me steady, most of the time.
I am a realist. I don’t pretend to wear all white and live in a state of perfection. Life is messy and sometimes uncomfortable. I allow for these feelings when I work with people. Offering options for grounding and getting yourself back to center, even in the storm. I won’t sugar coat my opinions. I believe we have to get to the nitty gritty and be willing to get our hands dirty when we do our deep work.
I also believe in dancing with joy and recognizing our triumphs, ever so small! Joy is supposed to be our natural state, and for me, that joy lives in the forest…in being one with nature.
